of Enterprise PMO software, today announced the public release of
Version 2.0 of its turnkey PMO solution, the Virtual Project Management
Office Network (vPMO). The latest version of the PMO portal includes
major enhancements that have been driven primarily by end-user feedback
and natural progressions in the tool's capabilities.
Key Enhancements
The vPMO continues its dramatic feature progression by building on
its already rich feature set. Some of the key enhancements in Version
2.0 include:
- An enhanced workflow for the evaluation and approval of planned initiatives
- A more automated process for promoting projects from budget/planning to managing/implementing
- Enhanced MS-Project Integration
- Improved user security and user administration
- Enhanced integration with Email clients including MS-Outlook
